So over our mini camp break, us “internationals” decided to go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon. The photos pretty much describe how incredible the experience was.
On the way to the Grand Canyon we actually took a wrong turn (Americans really struggle on roundabouts) and ended up halfway on our way to Utah before we realised we were going in the wrong direction. My only tip for those who want to visit the canyon from the Arizona side, take the Desert Drive entrance on the Eastern side of the national park. The South Rim entrance has an extremely long queue and it’s extremely packed in general. We only stayed there for a day and drove between the look out points, but you could easily spend a week at the canyon camping. The next time I visit, I would definitely try to make it to the base of the canyon and go on the Colorado river.
Way more to come on the USA!
